Bucharest Feis and Grade Exams 2018

Bucharest Feis 2018

The only international Irish Dancing competition in Romania, organised by STEYsha School of Irish Dance, will take place during the weekend 3rd–4th November 2018 with the third edition of Bucharest Feis on Saturday, November 3rd (free of charge access for the public) and the Grade Exams on November 4th. We are waiting for over 100 dancers from 15 European countries.

The Feis (Saturday, 3rd November 2018) will be between 08:00 – 19:00, at Liceul Sportiv „Mircea Eliade”, (Splaiul Independentei nr. 315‐317) and will have dancers from 15 different countries: Romania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. The competition will be judged by two CLRG certified adjudicators: Maire Mhic Aogain, SDCRG (Ireland) and Bernadette Trainor, ADCRG (U.K.), and live music will be played by the feis musician Kristian Fisl (Czech Republic).

Access for the audience will be free of charge during the competition, the venue offering over 70 seats in the stands and those who will wish to take advantage of this opportunity to sign up for Irish Dancing classes will be able to do it during the competition.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish good luck to our dancers and all those who will attend and compete in our feis and attend the grade exams, as well as to all those helping out with the organising of the friendliest feis in Europe.

Bucharest Feis has been made possible through the support of our sponsors: Romania – Ireland Business Association (RIBA) ‐ main sponsor ‐ and the Asociaţiei Culturale Româno – Irlandeze along with Sound Division. The event is run under the cultural patronage of the Irish Embassy in Romania.
